02/04/2026

Would you like to understand what the new amendments to the Code of Administrative Offences on the “propaganda” of LGBTQ+ and childfree issues mean, how they may work in practice, and what risks they pose for the media, NGOs, and public communication?

The human rights initiative “Journalists for Tolerance” invites you to an online meeting, “Amendments to the Code of Administrative Offences on LGBTQ+ and childfree issues: a briefing for media and NGOs”.

During the meeting, we will:

• clarify exactly what is changing in the legislation;

• explain how the new provisions may be applied to media, human rights, and civic initiatives;

• discuss what can be done to reduce risks;

• answer participants’ questions.

This meeting will be useful for journalists, editors, NGO representatives, human rights defenders, communications specialists, and everyone who works with public information on human rights, gender, and non-discrimination.

The meeting will be led by lawyer Zmitser Lepretor.

When: 16 April 2026, 18:00–19:00 Warsaw time, 19:00–20:00 Vilnius time.
