How to Stop Copying and Start Creating New Things
11/11/2025
The human rights initiative “Journalists for Tolerance” invites you to a free workshop on creativity and idea generation.
It’s commonly believed that creativity is about chaos and sudden inspiration. But what if there’s a structured process for generating ideas that anyone can use — not just “creators”?
At the workshop “How to Stop Copying and Start Creating New Things” we’ll dive into two approaches to idea generation — CRAFT and lateral thinking.
You’ll get tools that help you come up with fresh, unexpected, and original ideas anytime — even when inspiration is nowhere to be found.
Useful for: Everyone who works with ideas — communication specialists, journalists, designers, media managers — anyone who creates new approaches and formats.
Workshop lead: Darya Herasimenka — content producer (Skyeng, Careerum, Symptomato), creative director (PR3, Salmon DDB, Rapka), founder of the Kreaton project, and lecturer at creative schools (IKPA, MADS).
When: 20 November 2025, 17:00 Warsaw, 18:00 Vilnius, 19:00 Minsk.
Registration deadline: 20 November, 10:00 (Warsaw), 11:00 (Vilnius), 12:00 (Minsk).
On the day of the webinar, registered participants will receive an invitation and a link to the email address specified in the form.
